Compels Apple Inc. to produce all content and account records tied to a specified Apple Account (formerly Apple ID)/iCloud account — identification data, device links, email, iMessage/SMS content, iCloud file storage, activity logs, location-service data, and decryption keys where available to Apple.
Property / data categories
- Account identification — name, address, phone numbers, emails, account creation date, IP used to register, payment info
- Associated devices — current/past trusted iOS devices and computers, with serial numbers, UDID, IMEI/IMSI, MAC addresses
- Email content — all sent/received/draft/deleted mail tied to the account, with headers and attachments

Controlling authority
- Art. 18B.354(b) — Affidavit must show a specific offense and that the data sought is evidence of it, held by Apple.

Common defects to check for before filing
- Stale provider details — Apple's address, portal, and required attachments are reissued periodically
- Overbroad account identification — must be the specific, current Apple Account (formerly Apple ID)/username Apple's portal recognizes, not just the suspect's name
- Skipping the custodian-authentication request, risking a live-witness requirement at trial

- What it takes: Specific, current Apple Account (formerly Apple ID)/username as the account identifier; a custodian authentication affidavit is separately requested from Apple.
- Timing: 11-day execution deadline from issuance (Art. 18B.355(a)); 15-business-day provider compliance deadline (Art. 18B.356).
- Notice: Apple has a policy of notifying customers upon receipt of legal process; this warrant requests an Order of Non-Disclosure (Art. 18B.501) barring Apple from telling the subscriber about the warrant until further court order.
Verify Apple's current address and required attachments against Apple's own current legal process guidelines before filing — provider contact details are exactly the kind of thing that goes stale silently between cases.
